How it all started

My name is Fabiola, I am the Founder/Co-owner/Executive Chef of Fab & Fit Foods Along with my husband Tim who is the backbone of our business. I started Fab & Fit Foods after seeing the benefits from meal prepping for my family and myself.

After years of battling health issues that lead to my weight gain, I was able to lose 80+ lbs with meal prepping & exercising over a 1.5-year period. Once I saw how the quality of my life had changed due to meal prepping, I knew my purpose was to share this with the community. Thus Fab & Fit Foods was created!

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Rest assured that all FOOD SAFTEY precautions and protocols are being implemented at our commercial kitchen where we cook all our food. All our team wears masks/hair nets/ gloves/ aprons while in the kitchen/ packaging area.

*Side Note:  Always make sure that ANY OTHER MEAL PREP SERVICE YOU CHOOSE is cooking out of an inspected commercial kitchen. There are so many small meal prep business cooking out of their home and that puts you and your health at risk.

WHAT WE USE IN OUR MEALS:

We use high quality, fresh & organic ingredients to create delicious yet healthy ready to eat meals. We use ONLY ground turkey, chicken, or occasionally seafood  in our meal preps. You will never see any pork or beef in our traditional meal preps. Occasionally we offer “signature meals” that will be for in store purchase only that will contain beef.

Any sausage you see in any meal at any moment is either Chicken sausage or turkey links. Any bacon you see is low sodium turkey bacon. We do this to be sure to offer our customers the leanest protein.

Nothing is ever deep fried, everything is either baked/boiled /roasted or grilled.

Our nutrition facts are calculated by our nutritionist according to the portion sizes of the meals. We offer LEAN/MAINTENANCE/ BULK portions

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

It is normal to feel hungry after your meals on the first week, your stomach is still trying to get used to the smaller portions. Smaller portions (calorie deficit) is what will contribute to your goal of losing weight. A tip is to drink a lot of water before/during/ after your meals and all throughout the day. Snack on low to zero calories snacks example: Cucumbers, carrots, hard boiled eggs, pickles, cherries, grapes, cottage cheese, sunflower seed, pistachios (these are just a few, try Google “low to zero calorie snacks")

If after 2 weeks you still find yourself extremely hungry, try adding more veggies to your meal preps or go up a portion size from lean to our maintenance portions.

VERY IMPORTANT!!: FIND A FORM OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY THAT WILL GET YOUR HEART PUMPING AND THAT YOU ENJOY DOING SO THAT IT WILL BE EASIER FOR YOU TO STICK THROUGH WITH IT.
